Hear Every Voice Before You Generate

More than fifty standard voices in nine languages, each with three sample lines and the grade from the engine's published voice list. Voices with a profile page also show the blends we kept and let you try your own. Listening is free and needs no account.

The library covers nine languages: American and British English, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Hindi. Every voice card plays three preview clips recorded at the same loudness, a calm narration line, an energetic hook, and a conversational story, so you compare voices on the same footing instead of on the first sentence that happened to load.

Use the language tabs to narrow the grid, then open a voice page for its quality grade, training notes, and the blends other people keep. Any two voices can be mixed at a ratio you choose; the first voice sets pronunciation and pacing, the second contributes timbre only, which is how a Mandarin voice can read English with a lighter accent or a narrator can borrow a warmer tone.

How blending works

Any two voices, one pronunciation

  1. STEP 01

The first voice sets the words

Pronunciation, pacing, and language all come from the primary voice. Choose the voice that speaks your script's language.

  2. STEP 02

The second voice lends its timbre

Only the character transfers. It can come from any language, which is how a Mandarin voice can borrow an English voice's timbre without changing a syllable.

  3. STEP 03

Set the ratio and keep what works

Slide the second voice between 10 and 90 percent, preview for free, then save up to eight blends in this browser.
