Diane is not a single engine voice but a house recipe we fixed as one: two parts Maya, our grade A narration voice, to one part Grant, our neutral American male. Our note gives her narrated news summaries. Because she is already a blend, she cannot take a second voice; the recipe is the whole story.

What Diane is made of
Maya supplies two thirds and therefore the pronunciation: an A on the published list and a note that says warm, even, holds a long read. Grant supplies the other third: a C+ with a B target quality, noted as neutral.
The published list grades single voices, so Diane carries no grade of her own. What she carries is the recipe, chosen because we liked a news read that was warmer than Grant and less clearly female than Maya.
Length the engine likes. The published guidance puts the sweet spot at roughly 100 to 200 tokens, a few sentences; very short lines are the weak spot and very long ones can rush.

Questions about Diane
Is Diane a real voice or a mix?
A mix we fixed as a voice: two parts Maya, one part Grant. Pick her like any other voice; the recipe is applied for you.
Why can't I blend a second voice into Diane?
Because she already is a blend. To adjust her, start from Maya as the primary and add Grant at about 30 percent in the advanced settings.
Does Diane have a quality grade?
No. The published list grades single voices only. Her ingredients grade A and C+; the blend itself is our recipe.
Are Diane's captions word-timed?
Yes. Maya, the primary, reports word timing, so the SRT and VTT cues land on the spoken word.
