# Elliot: a soft-spoken, intimate voice for storytelling > Elliot has a low pitch and a breathy, intimate, soft-spoken sound. Storytelling and intimate narration are his listed strengths, the kind of script that should feel shared rather than performed. Page: https://ttslark.com/voices/elliot - Premium voice, reads 40 languages - Voice: Male ## Best for - **Bedtime and sleep stories**: Calm stories for children and adults, with slow scene changes and nothing that jolts the listener. A soft-spoken voice lets the listener drift off. - **Audio fiction**: Short stories and chapters where a close, quiet narrator makes the listener feel like the only one in the room. He makes a long story feel like it is told to one person. - **Personal essays and reflections**: First-person pieces and journal-style videos that need a gentle, unhurried delivery. Personal writing deserves a voice that does not perform it. ## What you get with Elliot **A read set up for your project.** On the AI voice over page, pick what you are making and Elliot reads each part of your script with its own tone, pace and energy.
